Jatagan provides a full suite of services to protect your site efficiently and effectively:

Advanced Surveillance Capabilities

Jatagan’s cutting-edge technology addresses unique site situations

Advanced Tech Options:   Range-Boosted AI Camera
System™: Game Changer In
Perimeter Security

Jatagan’s Range-Boosted AI Camera System™ is derived from our U.S.-patented Security Threat Detection technology and is now in its second generation. Designed for maximum efficiency, this system offers unparalleled protection for large perimeters, ideal for businesses and facilities requiring robust security against intrusions.

Why Choose Range-Boosted AI Camera System™
for Perimeter Security?

Exceptional Range and Coverage

While many security systems consider 250 feet “long-range,” Jatagan’s Range-Boosted AI Camera System™ sets a new standard with its 1,600-foot range—equivalent to over five football fields—with just two cameras. This system can secure entire perimeters in complete darkness, providing comprehensive protection for large sites.

Superior to Long-Range Thermal Cameras

Jatagan’s Range-Boosted AI Camera System™ surpasses traditional long-range
thermal cameras in key areas

License Plate Recognition System

Our powerful AI License Plate Recognition System captures plates up to 100 feet away at speeds up to 110 MPH, covering 1-2 lanes (e.g., parking lot entries). It provides valuable evidence to identify suspects and supports “white and black vehicle lists” for customized security needs.

The following pictures show an application of our License Plate Recognition Camera on a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) parking facility.

Thermal and Hybrid Thermal Cameras

Jatagan offers thermal and hybrid thermal cameras as specialized solutions to enhance surveillance for your sites. These advanced cameras, compatible with our Mobile Guard™, Pole Guard™, and Mounted Guard™ units, excel in challenging conditions like total darkness or light fog.

While our standard AI-enhanced visible-light cameras often deliver superior cost-effective protection, thermal and hybrid options provide targeted solutions for specific needs, such as fog-prone areas or fire detection, ensuring your site remains secure with industry-leading efficiency.

Thermal Cameras:
Detection in
Challenging Conditions

Thermal cameras detect heat rather than light, enabling surveillance in total darkness and light fog. They highlight individuals regardless of camouflage or background, making them suitable for high-security applications in fog-prone areas.

However, thermal cameras lack image detail, experience performance degradation in heavy rain, fog, or snow, and come with a much higher cost, especially for long-range models.

Jatagan’s standard AI-enhanced visible-light cameras often provide better protection for your money, but thermal cameras shine in specialized scenarios requiring heat-based detection.

The video to the right is taken from our thermal camera with a 640×480 resolution, 100 mm focal length, 17 µm, and NETD < 40mk (@25°C, f/1.0) at a distance of about 250 feet.

Hybrid Thermal Cameras:
Dual-Sensor Versatility

Hybrid (bispectral) thermal cameras combine a visible-light sensor with a thermal sensor, offering side-by-side, picture-in-picture, or fused imaging for enhanced context. These cameras are ideal when both detection and identification are critical, such as identifying suspects or detecting fires at short range.

While long-range hybrid models are costly, short-range options are more affordable and valuable for applications like fire detection or security protection. Jatagan integrates hybrid cameras with our main units to deliver tailored, cost-effective solutions.

The thermal imager of our bispectral camera used in the video to the left has a 256×192 resolution, 3.5 mm focal length, 12 µm, and NETD < 50mk (@27°C, f/1.0) at a distance of about 25 feet.

When to Use Thermal and
Hybrid Thermal Cameras

While Jatagan’s AI-enhanced visible-light cameras, like those in Mobile Guard™, Pole Guard™ and Mounted Guard™ units, are the go-to for most commercial security needs, thermal and hybrid thermal cameras are ideal for:

  • Fog-Prone Areas: Coastal sites and sites next to waterways where fog is common.
  • High-Security Needs: Applications requiring detection in total darkness or through camouflage.
  • Fire Detection: Short-range hybrid cameras for early fire detection at industrial or construction sites.
  • Specialized Integration: Pairing with Jatagan’s surveillance units for comprehensive coverage in challenging environments.
